ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Should have passed Master’s Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce or Engineering in any stream from a recognized university or institution:
(i) with minimum fifty per cent (50%) marks in the case of persons from General Category;

(ii) with minimum forty-five per cent (45%) marks in the case of persons from the Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes, other Backward Classes, Backward Classes or Physically Handicapped category.
4.2 Should have passed Degree of Bachelor of Education from a recognized university or institution except in case of persons holding the posts of Vocational Masters or Vocational
Lecturer or Computer Masters or Computer Faculty Teachers and
4.3 Should possess teaching experience for a minimum period of three years on the post of a
teacher in any Government School under the control of the Director (Means Director of Public Instructions, Punjab)
4.3 Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.

AGE
(i) Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as

(01-01-2020.( See detail in “General Information for the Candidates”)

(ii) Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 45 years for Punjab Govt. and its
Board/Corporation/Commission and Authorities employees, all States/ Central Government employees.
(iii) The Upper age limit is relaxed up to 42 years for Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab.
(iv) Ex-servicemen of Punjab Domicile shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such a vacancy in the Service Rules concerned by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit.
(v) Upper age limit is also relaxable up to 42 years for Widows, Divorcees and certain other Categories of Women.
(vi) Upper age limit is also relaxed upto 47 years for Physically Handicapped of Punjab.

Competitive Examination for selection:
(a) The Commission hold the Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Principals tentatively in May, 2020. The exact date of exam may be decided and intimated later keeping in view the public health safety issues. The procedure for Competitive Examination for selection of candidates for the post of Principals in the Department of School Education, Punjab is in following
sequence:-
(b) There will be a written test of 300 marks (120 questions of 2.5 marks each) and an interview of 40 marks as per following details:

(c) Candidates not more than two times the number of posts (in their order of merit of written exam) who have scored a minimum of 45 percent marks in written exams (40% for candidates of Scheduled Castes of Punjab and Backward Classes Punjab) shall be short-listed for appearing in the interview. However, this number shall be subject to variation if two or more candidates at the last number (the number at the end) get equal marks, then all of them shall be considered for appearing in the Interview (subject to eligibility), warranting the corresponding increase in the stipulated ratio.
(d) No candidate shall be eligible to be shortlisted for interview unless he/she obtains 45% marks in the competitive examination (read 40% for the candidates belonging to Schedules Caste of Punjab and Backward Classes of Punjab) and No candidate shall be eligible to be appointed unless he/she obtains at least 45% marks in the aggregate i.e. competitive examination including interview (read 40% for the candidates belonging to Schedules Castes of Punjab and Backward Classes of Punjab).
7.00 The salient features of the written competitive exam shall be as follows:-
(a) There will be no negative marking in the written test, for questions wrongly answered or questions not answered.
(b) After the answer key is put on the PPSC website (after written examination), ,candidates will be permitted to raise objections if any. Candidates will be given four days to deliberate before putting up objections. Any objection found ‘ frivolous’ may draw negative marking, equal to the weightage of the question.
(c) The aim of the Interview is to assess the candidate’s suitability for the job in terms of his personal qualities by a Panel Interview.

LOK SABHA
लोकसभा 
 

-Lok Sabha, as the name itself signifies, is the body of representatives of the people.
लोकसभा, जैसा कि इसका नाम स्वयं ही दर्शाता है, यह लोगों के प्रतिनिधियों का निकाय है।

-It is the Lower House of Parliament.
यह संसद का निचला सदन है।

-Members of the Lok Sabha are elected by adult universal suffrage and a first-past-the-post system to represent their respective constituencies.
लोकसभा के सदस्य वयस्क सार्वभौमिक मताधिकार और फर्स्ट पास्ट द पोस्ट चुनाव प्रक्रिया के तहत अपने संबंधित निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए चुने जाते हैं।

-They hold their seats for five years or until the body is dissolved by the President on the advice of the council of ministers.

-The maximum strength of the House envisaged by the Constitution is 552.

-An exercise to redraw Lok Sabha constituencies’ boundaries is carried out by the Boundary Delimitation Commission of India every decade based on the Indian census, last of which was conducted in 2001.

Qualifications for Lok Sabaha:(Art.-84)
लोकसभा के लिए योग्यताएं (अनुच्छेद- 84)

-He / She should be a citizen of India, and must subscribe before the Election Commission of India an oath or affirmation according to the form set out for the purpose in the Third Schedule of Indian Constitution.
वह भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए, और उसे भारत के चुनाव आयोग के समक्ष भारतीय संविधान की तीसरी अनुसूची में इस उद्देश्य के लिए निर्धारित पत्र के अनुसार शपथ या पुष्टि करनी चाहिए।

-He / She should not be less than 25 years of age.
उसकी आयु 25 वर्ष से कम नहीं होनी चाहिए।

-He / She possesses such other qualifications as may be prescribed in that behalf by or under any law made by Parliament.
वह उस संसद द्वारा बनाई गई किसी भी विधि के तहत या उसके तहत निर्धारित की गई अन्य योग्यताएं रखता हो।

-He / She should not be proclaimed criminal i.e. they should not be a convict, a confirmed debtor or otherwise disqualified by law; and
वह आपराधिक घोषित नहीं होना चाहिए, अर्थात वह दोषी नहीं होना चाहिए,  वह दिवालिया नहीं होना चाहिए अन्यथा विधि के तहत उसे अयोग्य घोषित नहीं होना चाहिए; तथा

-He / She should have his/her name in the electoral rolls in any part of the country.
वह देश के किसी भी हिस्से में मतदाता सूची में शामिल होना चाहिए।

Speaker and Deputy Speaker:(Art.-93)
अध्यक्ष और उपाध्यक्ष: (अनु.-93)

– In the Lok Sabha, both presiding officers—the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker- are elected from among its members by a simple majority of members present and voting in the House.
लोकसभा में, दोनों अध्यक्ष – अध्यक्ष और उप सभापति- सदन में उपस्थित और मतदान करने वाले सदस्यों के साधारण बहुमत से अपने सदस्यों में से चुने जाते हैं।

-Motions of no confidence against the government can be introduced and passed in the Lok Sabha.

-Money bills can only be introduced in the Lok Sabha, and upon being passed, are sent to the Rajya Sabha, where it can be deliberated on for up to 14 days.
